[ mood | tired ]

I have come to the conclusion that having an open journal and a friends only journal is completly pointless. Therefore, I'm going to not post in this journal any longer. If you still want to read what I write in journals comment in my new journal. Come on, show you me actually care. Or don't... whichever works.

I made a friends only journal to talk about things that matter a little more and so I can stop speaking in code (ie. "my unattended business" which Jes still only understands.). So yea, if you care at all about my deeper being, whatever that may be, comment on my friends only journal.
 the_magic_died
I love how that almost the entire journal is from 'Aida' and then my Friends Only Banner is 'Wicked'... that makes sense. I mean, I did see them on the same vacation in NYC.  Yea, so comment if you want to. I'll still use this journal, but it'll be mostly pointless entries like it currently is now.

Finals and such... [10 Jun 2004|08:15pm]
[ mood | sick ]

-- I took the Chorale and Bio finals today. I totally messed up the first 2 measures of the sightreading in chorale which threw me off for the rest so i just kind of stodd there. The written portion was easy, as were the chord progressions. It was my first Chorale final ever!! Bio was actually kind of easy. I just hope I did well on it. Tomorrow is History, I think i'll do well.
-- I'm sick and I don't like it. I need to get un-sick soon because I have NO headvoice and Anges Gooch in Mame in a high soprano. Does anyone have any ideas how to get over a horrible cold by monday? I hate being sick, but I am a lot. It seems I get sick whenever I use my AC, but it's soooo hot out. I ran out of cold medicine, it's bad, really bad.
-- I love rehearsals, but I haven't gone because I've been studying. They are so much fun because I love my theater friends. I really want to get to know Aaron Steiner just because he's kind of shy and we were in a play together about 2 years ago at the JCC (Jewish Community Center, for those of you who didn't have a clue).
-- Delain and I are in the same gym class, I hate gym.
that is all.

[ mood | sick ]

Chorale and Bio finals tomorrow. I'm not looking forward the either of them. I got my schedule for next year. It is as follows:
1 - Health (first symester)...Couvares
Gym (last quarter)...Mayshar
2 - American Lit...Sheehan
3 - Spanish 2...Saunders
4 - Algebra 2...Penard
5 - Chorale...Take a wild guess.
6 - Chemistry...Rader
7 - US History...Wohlgelme (?)
8 - Study Hall (hopefully early release)

Yea, so I'm sick. It seems whenever i use that stupid AC in my room I get sick. I'm tired of it. Why can't it be 60-70 degrees out year-round?

Argh... [07 Jun 2004|01:45pm]
[ mood | crushed ]

Today sucked royaly. I finally attended to my other unattended business and I got a "no". Yah hear that, Jes, 'twas a "no". After wasteing my time for 3 months, getting over two of my biggest fears, telling myself i'm not shy, and everything... I got a no. I suppose it's ok though. When I first heard the news I shrugged it off, then 5 minutes later I was pretty damn upset. Upset at the fact that I wasted time, upset by the fact that I actually care and upset by the fact that i broke my back to do this. I would have cried, however, I never cry. I was just really sad and I had to just walk around and wow, i'm not a happy person.
-- Also, Caryn and I were not allowed into the library for study hall due to senior finals and then we had no where to go because no one would give us a pass to study hall and we had to do a project. So we saw other kids leaving the school and we were like "it's only study hall", so we went to her house to work on it on the computer. We come back and get there at 10:30 and Mitch caught us. He asked for our names and everything. It's not like we were doing anything wrong, we were totally skipping out of pure innocence. Whatever, it was only study hall and we were doing a project and i didn't know it was a crime to skip study hall. God forbid the school turns one of their 13978 gyms into an extra library.

Rehearsal will make me feel better, it usually does.
Also, yay for Idina getting Best Actress in a musical!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEANNA... [06 Jun 2004|12:00am]
[ mood | bouncy ]

-- LeAnna's party was pretty awesome. We duct taped that kid, Ben, to a tree and left him there, lol. The best part of the party was deifnitely the fireworks, they were cool. We watched a movie and there were about 5 of us squished onto a 3 person couch, i had an elbow in my hip the whole time. I was told that I am "rockin' the converses". I didn't really know anyone considering they were mostly band kids. Good times though.
-- I really want to see pictures of the scene thingy 'Get Over It' from One Acts just because whenever I think about that play I randomly start laughing. I really need to see pictures from it. Whenever I'd get sad I'll look at them and crack up. Does anyone have any? Brittany M, Ariana, Rachel? Anyone? Please.

One Acts... [04 Jun 2004|09:40pm]
[ mood | amused ]

The one acts were great. They were all so funny and everyone was awesome. Get Over It and Medea were the funniest though. OH and Chicks Act III. They were all awesome and I laughed a lot and it was great. Sorry, i'm rambling. They were so funny. Robbie C. was hilarious, the whole ninja thing. Words, Words, Words was pretty funny as well. Wow, yea. good times. Maybe I'll audition for them next year, it looks like fun. I hope they do a portion of a musical again, maybe I'd get into that one. Godspell was really good, I just don't understand the play itself, care to explain? Yea, they were excellent. Now, to make my weekend perfect... I need to see Harry Potter. A few other things could make it even more perfect, but Harry Potter's good for now.

Library... [03 Jun 2004|09:55am]
[ mood | exhausted ]

I'm in the library with Sissy and Justine and I'm bored. The brown-haired librarian is really quite mean, it's annoying. She told us all that we had to get off the computers when we deifnitely didn't, so we're all back on. Rehearsal was blah last night. My throat hurt a lot so my singing was terrible. Ariana and Alison were so0o0o0o good though and the dances are pretty good too. I love rehearsals, that's how much of a life I don't have. I want to go to the One Acts tomorrow at School. I think I'll probably go with LeAnna and Amy. Since there's no rehearsal, maybe Naomi can go! I'll have to talk to her later. If I got grades in Spanish i'd have a 35, I should really start turning the work I do in. Caryn and I were going to visit odyssey on the 15th because we don't have exmas, but odyssey ends shcool on the 14th. Argh, I really want to go to that terrible school. I can't wait to see the little odyssey children next year. i'm done.

Stuff... [31 May 2004|11:19am]
[ mood | happy ]

-- Yesturday I went to Keeney with Stef and we played on the playscape! Brought back elementary school memories. Then she slept over and we made this erally weird thing. It was supposed to be brownies but we added fruit and peanut butter, it was really quite chewy and gross in a good-ish way. Then we tried to watch WYT's production of Bye Bye Birdie, but we coudln't bear it. Bye Bye Birdie is such a terrible play. Then we listened to some Les Miz, Rent and Wicked. Then we went upstairs and watched Lion King 2. Good times.
-- I have to clean today, it makes me mad. It won't take long though. I hope to go out and do somthing, I wonder if the mall's open today. I wish Allie's parents could have their annual memorial day party, but they are adding onto their house. Oh well, there's always the labor day party.
-- Tomorrow is the first rehearsal for Mame! I'm soooooo happy because I love rehearsals, unless I get called clueless by mr tyler just cuz i tripped on my pants that were too long. Anyway, it's a vocal rehearsal tomorrow. I'm singing all of the chorus songs just for the hell of it, but I'm only supposed to sing "We Need a Little Christmas" because Gooch doesn't double in the chorus. I want to go to one of those thrift shops and pick out my gooch costume! I'm good at picking out ugly clothes! I wore some ugly clothes to my Annie audition at the bushnell. Nan Anbri's mom said to buy ugly overalls because all the other girls would be wearing cute dresses and bows which those orphans woudln't wear. Yea, anyway.

Note: There is a tradition that Naomi, Heather and I started last year during Guys and Dolls. And that is to arrange special days where our group of friends would wear pajama pants to the rehearsal. It's our goal this year to have atleast one day where the entire cast wears pajama pants without us making an announcement at rehearsal to do so. I think the pick up rehearsal would be a nice day for that. Anyway, we're wearing pajama pants tomorrow. Feel free to join us, of course.

Tomorrow we have school... yay. Thank God it's a b-day, early release.

Theater People and such... [30 May 2004|07:04pm]
[ mood | amused ]

GOOD TIMES AT THE MALL. Haha, Tony and Heather are awesome! Funny, funny people. We each bought things. Tony bought these thumb rings and one got stuck on his finger, but i pulled it off, yay. He also tripped out of, like, nothing and walked into a glass door and scared some chinese men, but that's besides the point. It was awesome seeing heather outside of theater, she never has time to do stuff anymore! I got new shoes and shoelaces. Tony got the same shoelaces as me; pink with black stars. Heather got cool stuff too, a brand new shirt and a hat and some other things I don't remmeber. We went into spencers... my god, there was a penis pinata, strange. Tony tried on this cowboy hat in pacsun, haha, good times it was funny. Heather got this hat with 3 hamsters on it that says "rolling with my homies". They are cool people. Next time Naomi and Amy have to go with us. I also saw Paola and Jackie there, they are both such nice people it was good to see them. The mall was great, it really was.

what idiots think about theaterCollapse )

Gooch and Anti-semites... [28 May 2004|11:16pm]

Lets get one thing straight, this really only applies to one person. Ok, I don't care how bitchy I might be to someone, you can argue right back I like the challenge seeing as I'm usually right. However, you don't tell a Jew to burn in a Concentration Camp. That is quite possibly the worst thing you can say to me or any Jew for that matter. You join your fucking Knights of Mary Phagan or your KKK, but don't tell me about it. You can draw your fucking swastikas on the desks in school, but know you're being a raving idiot. The reason the world is so screwed up is because of people like you who have to bring religion into every little arguement. People like you hung Leo Frank. People like you persecuted Alfred Dreyfus. People like you enslaved Jews. People like you killed 6 million Jews. People like you are trying to push the Jews out of their homeland. People like you are called anti-Semites and people like you are terrible. Go ahead, call me a kike, a fucking Jew or Jesus-killer... I don't give a shit because it's making you look like the idiot. I have never hated anyone this much. There is a fine line that you have crossed. When will you see that it was not me who was wrong?

3 Defying Gravity.Look to the western sky.

[25 May 2004|09:51am]
[ mood | bored ]

I'm in the library with Sissy and Justine. Sissy was looking up funny pictures of animals for some project she's doing. Pretty strange pictures. Justine's in pain from dance or somthing, no clue. I should be doing my Spanish project, but I'm not because Caryn refuses to help even though I'm not doing anything either. I went to auditions yesturday as well except all I did was sit around and ocassionally went out to see Naomi in the Ballet because I had auditioned the day before. Some of the people were really good, like Arianna. Some were really bad, like Brenna. Joking, Brenna was awesome! Good job, Brenna! I hope Brenna gets a speaking role, she was really good. Courtney was too! Anyway, my audition... I didn't hear anyone sing unless I was walking by All Purpose 1. I heard Amy, she was amazing. I also heard Sean, he's no longer a boy soprano. I also heard myself, I don't know how I did. However, Mrs Curylo and Mrs Buck told me to sing the high note at the end of Gooch's Song, I hit it. Allison was great when she acted Vera's part and Starry was the best Gloria! The dancing, ugh, I hated it, but when don't I? Afterwards, I was outside with Paul, Theresa, Darryl and Paul's sister, Elaine. There was thunder and lightning and Paul stood in the middle of the parking lot pretending he was some kind of storm God, funny kid. So yesturday I drove with Mr Kinel for the first time, it was well. I was driving with both feet though lol. Left foot for the brake, right foot for the gas. We drove around Sheri's neighborhood for a while then I was told to drive down to pick up this girl, Ashley, at her house. Mr Kinel had Ashley and I switch and she drove me home. I get to drive again next wednesday. I think that's about it seeing as one of the librarians here is a mean, mean person and yells at you constantly and now she's looking at me funny.

[ mood | . ]

Six Flags was ok. We were there for a long time, but it felt so short. I only got to go on one ride. Ashley took me, jessica c, and jessica b onto that Houdini ride, it was cool. There were some good times, I don't really want to write them all down though. I was glad we got to go, I never though Mr Seirakowski would let us reschedual. I got sunburned a little bit, what I really got was freckles, ugh.. horrible. Either way, it was a pretty fun time.

I have serious lack of updating problems... [05 May 2004|07:29pm]
[ mood | Mixture of many things ]

Yea, so I haven't got much to say. Basically, I can't say much because I don't want to make a big fiasco out of somthing that is just completely done and over with. None of you know what I'm talking about, so, this entry is a little pointless so far. Anyway, I'm done trusting people. No one really cares about anything I say anyway and I can safely say that when the one person, whom I thought cared, couldn't give two shits about anything that comes out of my mouth. I'm sorry for anyone I pissed off, but, quite frankly, I'm just too tired to care right now. Sorry. I have serious trust issues as of now.
Advice of the day - If a friend of yours is pissing you off, TELL THEM. Don't wait until you put it in your journal causing your friend to end the friendship merely from lack of trust.
-- My God, whatever happened to truth? --

Aida is closing, however, Adam Pascal is returning to do a reprise of Radames. I need to see that because the one thing I can trust is that he'll be awesome.

I'll just leave you with a song because yea.. not much matters as of now besides my love for broadway because I trust that it will be there for a long while.
